EarthBound: The Blue Marble is a romhack of EarthBound/MOTHER 2 set in an alternate version of Earth in 1972.Something's not quite right across the United States. Radios are playing bits of songs that were never actually recorded, towns seem to be struggling to recall something significant, and daily life has taken on a slightly odd vibe. Ken, a quiet boy who usually avoids trouble, unexpectedly finds himself at the center of it all.Accompanied by a quirky group of friends, Ken journeys across the nation to unravel the enigma of the Eight Lullabies, old tunes believed to be linked to the Earth itself. As they delve deeper, the world around them starts to respond in surprising ways.Throughout their adventure, they come across bizarre foes, urban myths that turn out to be true, and ordinary items that have an unexpected flair. And yes, that means bicycles, stop signs, and for some odd reason, even the neighbor's dog.Beneath it all lies Giegue, an enigmatic figure whose involvement in everything is still a bit of a mystery.Will Ken and his buddies take on the powerful, almighty Giegue? Will they manage to save humanity and the world as a whole?
